The C Closing Lemma for Nonsingular Endomorphisms Equivariant under Free Actions of Finite Groups

چکیده
In this paper a closing lemma for C1 nonsingular endomorphisms equivariant under free actions of finite-groups is proved. Hence a recurrent trajectory, as well as all of its symmetric conjugates, of a C1 nonsingular endomorphism equivariant under a free action of a finite group can be closed up simultaneously by an arbitrarily small C1 equivariant perturbation.

The Universal Functorial Equivariant Lefschetz Invariant
We introduce the universal functorial equivariant Lefschetz invariant for endomorphisms of finite proper G-CW-complexes, where G is a discrete group. We use K0 of the category of “φ-endomorphisms of finitely generated free RΠ(G,X)-modules”. We derive results about fixed points of equivariant endomorphisms of cocompact proper smooth G-manifolds.
متن کاملNew Criteria of Generic Hyperbolicity Based on Periodic Points
We prove that, if a mild condition on the hyperbolicity of the periodic points holds for any diffeomorphism in a residual subset of a C-open set U , then such set U exhibits a residual subset A of Axiom A diffeomorphisms. We also prove an analogous result for nonsingular endomorphisms: if a mild expanding condition holds for the periodic set of local diffeomorphisms belonging in a residual subs...
متن کاملEffective Equidistribution for Closed Orbits of Semisimple Groups on Homogeneous Spaces
We prove effective equidistribution, with polynomial rate, for large closed orbits of semisimple groups on homogeneous spaces, under certain technical restrictions (notably, the acting group should have finite centralizer in the ambient group). The proofs make extensive use of spectral gaps, and also of a closing lemma for such actions.
متن کاملSmooth Group Actions on Definite 4 - Manifolds and Moduli Spaces
In this paper we give an application of equivariant moduli spaces to the study of smooth group actions on certain 4-manifolds. A rich source of examples for such actions is the collection of algebraic surfaces (compact and nonsingular) together with their groups of algebraic automorphisms. From this collection, further examples of smooth but generally nonalgebraic actions can be constructed by ...
متن کاملCharacterizing Mildly Mixing Actions by Orbit Equivalence of Products
We characterize mildly mixing group actions of a noncompact locally compact second countable group G using orbit equivalence We show an amenable action of G is mildly mixing if and only if G is amenable and for any nonsingular ergodic G action the product G action is orbit equivalent to We extend the result to the case of nite measure preserving noninvertible endomorphisms i e when G N and show...
